Carnation Registrar to drive sector’s growth with financial innovative service
To reposition for growth in the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Carnation Registrars Limited has invested in the use of modern technology tools to unlock the sector’s potential.
This was disclosed at a press conference where the company changed its corporate identity from Mainstream to Carnation Registrars Limited, in Lagos.
Speaking to The Guardian on the new name, brand and logo, the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Oluwadare Akingbola, said: “We are going to deliver excellent services to the shareholders such that we will serve like ‘a one shop registrar company’, whereby with the reliable technology shareholders do not need to come to our office before they are paid their dividends.
Akingbola also said with the new innovation his company was introducing into registrar business, the problems associated with dividend clearing have become a thing of the past.
“No more problems of people not getting their dividends paid or cleared with the introduction of our high technology drive, which we intend to initiate very soon”, Akingbola stated.
The Chairman, Sulaiman Adedotun, said “the key thing here is innovation. If you understand registrar business. There are issues of regulations. If you’re not prepare strategically in the next few days one will be out of business.
“For every Registrar has to stand up and think of new innovation they want to bring on board, this is very important. Who are the target? Where is the client? What is the prospect of Registrar business is? What is happening to their life? How do you create experience for those people so that you will continue to be in business? This is very important.
“Today, the need to be passionate about what prospects there are cannot be over emphasized. So, one needs to know the market place and know what is happening there. Registrars need to have key focus so as to know how to render services for our clients,” he said.
Adedokun assured his company would give their respective clients prompt services, innovative products and convenience.
“We at Carnation Registrars, we are going to be innovative. We need to key into customers’ experience to ensure that we provide what they need, which include prompt services, innovative products and convenience”.
