GRAND Petroleum and Chemicals Limited, a subsidiary of Nosak Group and producers of Hi-Speed lubricants hosted its customers in an interactive forum as part of its plans to show gratitude to its distributors across the country.

The event provided the company with the opportunity to address its customers and get first-hand information on the areas that need improvement with regards to timely delivery of products, seamless procurement from the company and plans for the company’s overall expansion.

The company, renowned for producing Automotive and Industrial lubricants like Gasoline Engine Oils, Automotive Transmission Oil, Automotive Gear/Axel Oils and Diesel Oils, has over the years seen its distributors as partners in the ever increasing lubricants oil market in Nigeria.

The Group Executive Director, Corporate Services, Mr. Osagie Ogunbor revealed that the company currently produces 75,000 liters of its lubricants daily with a storage capacity of 6 million liters. He stated that the company plans to expand its daily production to meet up with the demand for its products, which is rising daily.

He also said that the company would continuously strive to satisfy its customers in terms of price, packaging and delivery methods.

He further stated that despite stiff competition from other multinational oil companies in the country, Grand Petroleum plans to build on its own strength by carving a niche market for itself. In terms of quality, he stated that most of its raw materials are sourced from china and as a result, its products can compete favorably with other major lubricants in the market.

The Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Joseph Oboko told the customers that the company understands the challenges they face especially with respect to adulteration of products, which many Nigerian companies currently face. He said that the company plans to rebrand its lubricant products by ensuring that the seal on the crown cover cannot be imitated. When this is done, it will be extremely difficult for adulterators to imitate its products.

The Group Executive Director, Operations and Projects, Osaheni Ogunbor, said the quality of its products is high and helps to prolong the life span of an engine, stating that Grand Petroleum Products are ISO certified.

The company has different types of lubricant products both for petrol and diesel engines.

In response, one of the major distributors of the company, Mr. Tony Nsitem, stated that he was satisfied with the level of development of the company and enjoined other distributors to work hard to get more rewards from the company. He also enjoined them to be observant in the market and report any issue of adulteration that comes to their notice.
