A South Korea multinational company, LG Electronics, has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering user-centric, locally optimised solutions for consumers across the Middle East and Africa.
The firm’s West Africa Subsidiary President, Hyoung Sub Ji, made this assurance at two industry exhibitions, InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi and the Mega HORECA 2026 exhibition, held in Nigeria.
The exhibitions gathered industry stakeholders, including hospitality operators and business partners with similar technologies, including smart refrigeration systems, automated laundry equipment, connected cooking appliances and air-conditioning units designed for residential and commercial environments.
Ji said that through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, they aimed to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region.
“All these are part of efforts to expand our smart appliance portfolio across the Middle East and the whole of Africa,” he said.
At the InnoFest 2026 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the company pledged to improve energy management and automated usage.
Also, at the just-concluded Mega HORECA 2026 exhibition held in Nigeria, the company said it would address moisture-related environmental conditions.
Speaking at the exhibitions, the company’s West Africa leadership said the technologies were designed to reflect changing consumer and business needs across the region, particularly around automation, energy management and connected living systems.
It noted increased participation of global appliance manufacturers at regional exhibitions, which it said reflects growing demand for smart home and commercial automation technologies across Africa and the Middle East, driven by urbanisation, energy efficiency concerns and evolving consumer preferences.
