Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Cutix Plc, Ijeoma Odunoye, has been honoured with the award of the most successful female entrepreneur/excellent performer as a female chief executive, by the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME).
  
Odunoye, who doubles as the Deputy President, South, NASME, was feted at the organisation’s International Women’s Day/Awards which recently held in Abuja. The event attracted stakeholders and captains of industry including the Special Adviser to the President on Job Creation and MSMEs, Olatunji Johnson, who represented President Tinubu and delivered the keynote address.
  
Speaking, NASME national president, Dr Abdulrashid Yerima said the awards are to recognise and celebrateentrepreneurs,entrepreneurship ecosystem builders and development partners for their efforts in the MSME sub-sector of the economy. Recognising the supportive role Oduonye has played over the years in the development of the MSME sector of the economy, he urged that the tempo be sustained for the benefit of small businesses all over the country.

Reacting, Odunoye dedicated the award to the Cutix board, management and workforce, noting that the company will keep setting the standard in terms of quality. She noted that this has enabled them consistently receive high-level Standard Organisation of Nigeria’s (SON) NIS awards for product quality since 2003.
   
Additionally, the company has been recognised for its financial performance, with a revenue of ₦12.18billion, a profit before tax of ₦1.62billion and a profit after tax of ₦1.07billion in 2024, representing a year-on-year growth of 32, 36 and 35 percentage points respectively.
