JPI Convention names Providus Bank platinum sponsor
Jamie Pajoel International (JPI) is pleased to announce Providus Bank as the Platinum Sponsor for the upcoming Youth Leadership Convention. Providus Bank, a longstanding partner, has consistently demonstrated its commitment to youth development and financial empowerment.
The JPI Youth Leadership Convention press conference was held on October 18, 2024, at Marina Hall, Radisson Blu, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
In light of recent global events, it has become evident that young people are at the forefront of social change. Jamie Pajoel International recognizes the critical role youth leaders play in driving community transformation. According to the United Nations, there are currently 1.2 billion young people aged 15 to 24, accounting for 16 percent of the global population.
By 2030, the year set for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the global youth population is projected to reach 1.3 billion, a 7 percent increase. As youth increasingly advocate for more equitable and progressive opportunities in their societies, addressing the multifaceted challenges they face—such as access to education, healthcare, employment, and gender equality—has become more pressing than ever.
Young people can be a powerful force for development when provided with the knowledge and opportunities to thrive.
Jamie Pajoel International is a global youth leadership organization dedicated to equipping young minds with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to excel as leaders and entrepreneurs. The organization’s vision is to raise young leaders who will transform their communities and nations.
JPI’s ambitious goal is to reach 1,000,000 members, execute 100,000 community projects, and establish chapters in 30 countries, creating a global network of empowered youth leaders.
Over the years, JPI has made remarkable strides in nurturing young leaders, reaching significant milestones that reflect the organization’s dedication to youth empowerment.
Since its inception in 2009, JPI has hosted the largest youth leadership convention in Nigeria, offering a platform for young people to develop leadership skills and foster a passion for positive change. Today, Jamie Pajoel International has positively impacted 5 million young leaders in Nigeria, underscoring its unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation.
In 2023, JPI sponsored 27 Nigerian youths to attend a fully-funded leadership conference in Rwanda, expanding their perspectives and networks. The organization has also established State Chapters across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, ensuring national reach.
Moreover, JPI aims to provide business grants to Nigerian youth, promoting entrepreneurship and economic growth. Through these initiatives, Jamie Pajoel International continues to inspire and equip young leaders to drive meaningful change.
The JPI Youth Leadership Convention will feature renowned speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities designed to empower participants to embrace innovation and take charge of their future. The organization remains committed to sharing knowledge, education, and global experiences to help young leaders in Nigeria and across Africa achieve their goals.
Jamie Pajoel International’s mission is to empower young leaders who are making positive impacts in their communities, workplaces, businesses, or social enterprises. The goal is to foster personal development and equip youth to drive innovative solutions in their environments.
To achieve this, JPI promotes entrepreneurship and encourages youth to develop solutions to societal challenges while creating job opportunities across sectors. Additionally, JPI fosters intergenerational solidarity and learning opportunities.
The organization’s networking events will bring together young leaders from various sectors to connect with industry experts and explore future collaborations, partnerships, and mentorship.
