LASACO, brokers partner on service delivery
LASACO Assurance Plc has collaborated with insurance brokers for better service delivery to policyholders. To attain this, the underwriter hosted the management of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) where they explored how best to team up with brokers to serve customers better amidst the current economic realities.
Speaking at the meeting, the Managing Director of the insurance firm, Razzaq Abiodun, said the continuous collaboration with brokers would be of much benefit to insurance customers.
Abiodun believes that the current economic situation in the country poses a big challenge to the growth of insurance businesses and challenges insurance providers to be more proactive in coming up with creative strategies that could make their customers survive the hardship with relative ease.
He explained that Lasaco Assurance hosted the council members to service the brokerage subsector more efficiently. For insurance businesses to grow, he said, practitioners should always evolve ways of protecting the interests of their customers by seeking improved productivity and customer satisfaction through collaboration and the exchange of ideas that could enable them to operate optimally and give consumers the needed satisfaction.
Through the relationship with NCRIB, he said, Lasaco Assurance would be able to enhance the skills of its employees through local and international training, adding that the company would also become an active participant in NCRIB events.
The handshake would also encourage the company to engage more in better customer experience to enhance customer engagement as well as encourage it to be more professional by being stricter with the code of conduct of the insurance industry.
Speaking on behalf of his team, NCRIB President, Babatunde Oguntade said his organisation chose to visit LASACO because of the company’s strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous support for the council.
