Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the WACTpreneur initiative, Managing Director of WACT-APM Terminals Nigeria, Jeethu Jose, explained that the capacity-building programme was designed to equip entrepreneurs from Onne and Ogu communities in Rivers State with essential skills in business management and entrepreneurship.

He stated that the initiative, which is delivered in batches, aligns with one of WACT’s core corporate social responsibility (CSR) pillars—community training and development.

Also speaking, Senior People Business Partner at WACT-APM Terminals, Chinelo Obienyem, said the programme is part of the company’s commitment to fostering sustainable community development.
