Strowallet launches card issuing solution for Nigerian fintechs, MFBs

Strowallet Digital Services Limited, a Nigerian fintech company providing virtual bank accounts, card issuing services, and API-based payment solutions, has introduced a card issuing infrastructure aimed at enabling fintech startups, microfinance institutions, and microfinance banks in Nigeria to roll out physical and virtual cards in significantly less time.

The new platform allows partners to issue Physical Naira ATM Cards for cash withdrawals and in-store payments, Virtual Naira Cards for secure local online transactions, and Virtual Dollar Cards for international payments, subscriptions, and e-commerce.

The service can be accessed via an API for integration into existing banking systems or through Strowallet’s dashboard, which is designed for non-technical institutions seeking a simple card-issuing process.

“We built this to empower other fintechs and microfinance banks to focus on their customers, while we handle the heavy lifting of card issuing,” said Oseni Jamiu, CEO of Strowallet Digital Services Limited. “Our goal is to make world-class payment solutions accessible to every institution, big or small.”

According to the company, the solution can reduce card launch times from several months to just days. Early adopters have reported improved efficiency in product rollouts, positioning Strowallet as a competitive player in Nigeria’s fast-evolving fintech sector, where speed, compliance, and reliability are critical.
