To further improve access to shared services as well as technology and machinery needed to improve manufacturing output and quality, over 3,700 manufacturing professionals and more than 120 exhibitors have been scheduled to next year’s Nigerian Manufacturing and Equipment Expo.

Billed for March 2017 in Lagos, the expo will provide a forum for small businesses and international market leading manufacturers with operations in Nigeria, to network, share best practice, up skill their teams, assess financing and funding solutions as well as evaluate and procure international technology, machinery, tools and spare parts in order to improve manufacturing output and quality.

According to the organisers, the Expo and co-located CEO & Government Forum, known as mPAD (Manufacturing partnerships for African Development) were set up in response to government’s commitment to diversify the Nigerian economy by improving the Manufacturing sector.

“Besides the Gold (Thompson & Grace) and Silver sponsors (Simplified Corporate Logistics) lending huge support to the exhibition, several confirmed exhibitors include: AIM Packaging, Al-Behar Industries, Boskel, Buhler, Clearpack Singapore, FESTO, GEA West Africa, Miele, Mikano International Limited, and Zebra Technologies Europe.

“Exhibition Pavilions will also be showcased from around the world with expected attendance from Spain, Italy, Germany, Turkey, India, Malaysia and China, which means manufacturers in Nigeria now have an annual platform, fully supported by their Industry Association MAN, to connect with International Technology Providers and Partners over three days helping to save thousands of dollars in expensive and time costly travel.
