Beyond the intervention on education, Dr. Aliyu cited Bichi’s footprint on healthcare, housing, water and power supply and other critical sectors, added that the Lawmaker’s 45 years could be measured by remarkable milestones.

According to him, “At 45, Hon. Abubakar Kabir Bichi can look back with gratitude on a remarkable journey of success, prosperity and public service. Yet perhaps the most meaningful measure of these years is not the positions he has occupied, but the impact he has made on people.

“Across Bichi Federal Constituency, his interventions in education, healthcare, infrastructure, youth empowerment, employment and economic development have touched thousands of lives and are gradually changing the socioeconomic landscape of the constituency.

“I recently witnessed one example when I attended the launch of the fourth batch of his postgraduate scholarship programme, benefiting 122 students studying at various universities, including recipients of international scholarships.

“That experience reminded me that the true value of leadership is sometimes found not only in the projects we can see, but also in the people whose lives have changed because someone gave them an opportunity”, the Commissioner added.

Dr. Aliyu in the message further said “Among the most ambitious is the vision for a Bichi Industrial City, with hundreds of hectares of land reserved to attract industries, businesses and investment. This is complemented by major electricity and water infrastructure, as well as the development of a mega stadium and a housing estate comprising about 2,000 homes.

“Healthcare has equally received significant attention, including efforts towards an Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital annex and support for temporary health workers. The ultramodern Bichi Market and Skills Acquisition Centre further demonstrate a commitment to creating opportunities for people to work, trade, acquire skills and become economically productive

“Success should not only be measured by wealth accumulated, titles acquired or positions occupied. It should also be measured by lives improved and opportunities created. For Hon. Abubakar Kabir Bichi, there is already a substantial record.

“Public positions will come and go, and titles will eventually change. But a child who received an education, a family whose livelihood improved, a young person who secured an opportunity and a community transformed by development represent legacies that can endure for generations”. Dr. Aliyu noted.
