To redefine Nigeria’s culinary, leisure and hospitality business, Pitstop Restaurant recently unveiled its Lifestyle Village and ‘Phoenix by Pitstop’ restaurant in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Attracting key stakeholders in the food and beverage industry, the unveiling featured a six-course dining experience, soft music and a guided tour of the facility.
Founder of PitStop, Aminadab Adegboro, described the development as “a triumph of vision and perseverance,” recalling how the brand survived the COVID-19 lockdown, retaining all its staff during the period.
She lauded partners, including Access Bank and angel investors, for their support, assuring that the company remained committed to corporate citizenship and job creation.
Through the Pitstop Academy, the company currently supports 400 children and 45 professional cyclists with training and mentorship.
“We are building a movement that inspires enterprise, wellness and social responsibility,” she said.
Also, General Manager, Pitstop Village, Jamal Bendghoughi, explained that the brand’s culinary direction blended French techniques with African ingredients to deliver a unique dining experience.
According to him, the outfit focuses on quality, stressing that all their products were made in-house, using local ingredients.
“With this village, we’re creating something unique in Lagos. It’s a café, resort, gym, sports shop, rooftop bar and more, designed for the community,” he said.
Ngozi Madueke-Dozie, one of the guests, expressed delight at Pitstop’s growth from a fitness group to a full-service lifestyle brand.
Event host, Dare Art Alade, commended the design and atmosphere of Bendghoughi by Pitstop, describing it as a space that “elevates the dining experience.”
