STACO boss bags WAII fellowship award

THE Managing Director of Staco Insurance Plc, Sakiru Oyefeso, has been awarded fellowship of the Gambia-based West African Insurance Institute (WAII).

A seasoned insurance professional, he started his insurance career with NICON Insurance Corporation in 1978 and later worked for Leadway Assurance Company Limited, Financial Assurance Company Limited and other companies respectively.

The Staco boss also sits on the Governing Council of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA), Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and the Nigerian British Chambers of Commerce (NBCC). He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the LASUMBA Heritage, and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and Institute of Directors (IoD).

WAII is an insurance training centre with full diplomatic status, juridical personality and financial authority and provides professional insurance education and allied courses to the personnel of insurance firm and finance organisations in both private and public sectors in the West African sub-region.
