Nigeria, DRC, others urged to strengthen inland waterways safety regulations
Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and other member countries of the Maritime Organisation of West and Central Africa (MOWCA) have been urged to tighten the enforcement of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) procedures on inland waterways transportation in the sub-region.
