Mare Schools, Alapere Ketu, has held its 2025 special valedictory and prize giving ceremony with outstanding pupils in Nursery 2 moving to primary section; year 5 pupils moving to secondary school and Senior Secondary School 3 pupils graduating from the school.
The Chairman, Board of Governors, Mr. Samuel Titilayo Mare, who congratulated all the graduating pupils, said: “I am most delighted anytime I am in seasons like this where I have to speak at occasions where future leaders are celebrated. We understand the stress you have undergone in the course of your studies. I pray that God, who rewards excellence will reward you adequately.”
He told that pupils that discipline alone does not guarantee that they will enjoy the fruits of success because success without humility can become arrogance while success without compassion becomes emptiness. Mare said that the Mare group of schools is proud of its achievement in the 2024/25 academic session.
In his speech, the Head of the primary school, Olubayo Onanuga, said the theme for this year’s graduation ceremony, The Emerging Legends is particularly unique, poetic and prophetic, no doubts, the school and faculty have worked tirelessly all through the years and particularly this past session to uphold the vision and core drive of the school through the carefully, professionally selected programs, topics of discourse, activities and direction.
Also speaking, the Principal of the secondary school arm, Mr. Gbenga Ogunlende, said over the past academic session, the school has not only delivered education, but also delivered scaffolded transformation, re-engineered consciousness.
