As part of efforts to boost infrastructural development, Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics (SSANIP), Auchi chapter, has inaugurated a 2000-capacity hall at the old staff quarters of the institution.

Speaking to newsmen during the unveiling, the initiator of the project, who is the chairman, board of trustees, Mallam Suleiman Idris, the current chairman of the association, Yakubu Abdulfatai, and National President, Philip Ogunsipe, expressed optimism that the project would benefit all concerned.

While commending the institution’s rector, Dr Salisu Umar, for endorsing the project, SSANIP said it is the first of such to be inaugurated during his tenure.

Umar lauded the union for its commitment towards the development of the institution, and assured of the management’s resolve to tackle some of the challenges identified by SSANIP.
