EINGICE organisers announce star-studded speakers, move venue to PTDF

Organisers of the Emogas International Natural Gas-Based Industry Conference and Exhibition (EINGICE) have announced a venue change and an impressive roster of speakers for the 2025 edition of the annual gas and energy summit.

The conference, originally scheduled for Transcorp Hilton, will now hold at the state-of-the-art PTDF Towers Conference Centre in the Central Business District, on October 30–31, 2025.

The decision to move to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) facility was informed by the surge in delegate and exhibitor registration.
According to the Gas and Energy Development Council of Emogas Limited, the new venue offers greater space, safety and security for the growing number of participants expected at this year’s gathering.

With the theme “Guaranteeing Africa’s Exit from Energy Poverty through Natural Gas Project Financing and Development with a Focus on Nigeria: Strategies and Actionable Steps”, the two-day event will convene industry leaders, policymakers, regulators, and investors to deliberate on financing, infrastructure development, and the transformative role of natural gas in Africa’s economic future.

The first day of the conference is expected to open with keynote addresses from MD/CEO of Aradel Holdings Plc, Mr. Gbite Falade, and Engr. Leye Falade, Managing Director of Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad.

Gbite Falade will tackle the overarching theme of Africa’s energy poverty and present implementable strategies for financing natural gas projects.

His address will be followed by a high-impact panel featuring industry titans such as Mr. Tein T.S. Jack-Rich (CON), Founder and President of Belemaoil Producing Limited, and Mr. Ahonsi Unuigbe, MD/CEO of Petralon Energy Limited. Goodwill messages will be delivered by Ahmed Galadima Aminu, Executive Secretary of PTDF, and Professor Mike Onyekonwu, MD/CEO of Laser Engineering and Resources Consultants Limited, during the morning’s opening ceremony.

Distinguished as the first African to lead Brunei LNG in its 55-year history, Leye Falade will headline a dedicated LNG Finance and Development Roundtable.
With over 28 years of global experience across Shell’s upstream and integrated gas operations, he will explore how Africa can expand LNG infrastructure to strengthen economic growth and energy security.

The session will transition into a roundtable discussion featuring Dr. David Ige, MD/CEO of GasInvest Limited and Non-Executive Director of NNPC Ltd.; Mr. Raju Limbachiya, Group CFO of Greenville LNG; Engr. Jennis Anyanwu of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC); Engr. Amina Danmadami of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA); and Engr. Dr. Emeka Okafor, Managing Consultant at Emogas Limited.

The event is expected to spotlight Nigeria’s domestic content policy, regulatory frameworks, and procurement opportunities. Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB); Engr. ThankGod Egbe, CEO of CypherCrescent Ltd., and Professor Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, former Minister of Petroleum Resources, will deliver keynote speeches on “The Strategic Role of Africa’s Energy Banks and Governments Towards Easier Procurement of Natural Gas Industry Equipment and Technologies.”

They will be joined on stage by Dr. Emeka Vitalis Ndubuisi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources; Dr. Victor Ekpenyong, MD/CEO of Kenyon International West African Company Limited; and Dr. Abiodun Ogunjobi, CTO of Pan Ocean – Newcross Group and Immediate Past President of NAPE, in a panel exploring local procurement strategies and regulatory support.

Technical Consultant to Dangote Refinery, Babajide A. Soyode, will deliver a keynote on “Leveraging Natural Gases as Products and Feedstocks towards Transformative Growth of Africa’s Refining and Petrochemical Market.”

His address will be complemented by insights from Professor Godwin Igwe, a global modular refinery advocate; Mr. Tony Ogbuigwe, former MD of Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC); Engr. Bassey Rex, CEO of Africenergy and Infrastructure Limited, and Dr. Henry Adimula, CEO of QCS+ Consulting and former head of the Petroleum Training Institute.

In a statement, organisers described EINGICE 2025 as more than a conference, but a platform designed to “inspire and educate” while charting Africa’s pathway to sustainable energy.

“This year’s edition will not only spotlight financing and development strategies but also explore how Africa can fully leverage natural gas, from LNG infrastructure to refining and petrochemicals, to exit energy poverty,” the statement read.
