BOULOS Enterprises Limited, a distributor of motorcycles in Nigeria has unveiled initiatives to improve customer engagement as part of efforts to increase its market share. Driven by increasing competition and stringent policies by the government, the firm announced initiatives that will see it engaging customers on its product offerings.

In line with the plan, the ‎General Manager Sales and Marketing of the organization, Stanley Evans, at a Motorcycles Dealers Forum, orgainsed by the company in Lagos disclosed that his firm is targeting to further engage its customers through its new internet and social media initiative and would be giving away a limited edition of its Haojue elegant 500k by a twitter competition.

Evans said that the company’s one thousand kilometer warranty offer and a free service, regular free service campaigns across the country, technical and user involved road shows as well as training of mechanics in different localities across the nation would help Nigerians to beat the fast growing changes in the market.

Besides, with the dealership conference and introduction of a sensitization exercise to eliminate 2 stroke engines from the market, the organization said it has studied the changing paradigm in the sector and would ensure that it remained consistence with its initiatives. Chairman of the organisation, Robert Ugbaja said: “Boulos Enterprise has served the country for long and will continue to offer best qualities that will continue to serve the nation. We are seeing rapid changes in this industry which is putting pressure on the market and the local mechanics to improve skills.

“Only those who have remained in this industry are those who have adapted to changes over time. For anyone to remain relevant in this marketed the person must constantly adapt”, Ugbaja noted. He said that the motorcycle market in the country was transformed overnight from one with a 100 per cent personal ownership of motorcycles in the 80s owning to the collapse in the transportation system in the country as well as the economy, stressing further that with latest development, motorcycle users would be erudite and sophisticated people who must understand the growing technology trends.
