BOULOS Enterprises Limited has introduced a locally assembled GE 110 Suzuki Hayate motorcycle to further expand its operations in Nigeria.

In a statement made available to the media, National Corporate Manager for Boulos Enterprises Joseph Fayose, said: “The Suzuki Hayate is a high technology, low maintenance motor cycle featuring Suzuki patented SAVT ‘Suzuki air valve technology’.

“This works by taking some of the waste gases from the engine and redirecting them into the combustion chamber, the technique enhances the air/fuel burn during combustion resulting in a fuel saving of circa 30 per cent and increase in performance of up to 80 per cent.

According to the organisation, the technology has massive benefit for the user as it means a major engine overhaul only being required every four/ five years.

“Sector of the market typically needs major engine overhauls every three/six months. The Suzuki therefore, saves the working Okada riders more money as they pay less for maintenance and less for petrol,” the organisation said.

It said: “The bike is also fitted with electric starter and high strength light alloy wheels, which resist road impacts and are therefore much safer than the old fashioned wire wheels fitted to other bikes in this sector of the market.”
