Danacid assures on distribution of quality pharmaceuticals

Managing Director of Danacid, Mr. Gautam Hathiramani, has assured Nigerians on unwavering commitment to healthcare delivery and distribution of quality pharmaceuticals.

Hathiramani, at the 25th anniversary celebration of Danacid on Saturday, said: “Dana pharmaceutical’s flagship brands such as Danacid tablets/suspension, Ferroden capsules and leading range of intravenous fluids have become leaders in their respective categories. The company is also into co-marketing agreements with and distribution of quality pharmaceuticals for reputable pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria.

“Danacid has never and will never compromise on its impeccable product standard being delivered to the Nigerian health sector.”

Country Manager of Danacid Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Bharat Vaswani, said: “There has always been a demand from Nigerians for health products and antacids since the establishment of Danacid in 1996. Maybe because of the nature of our job, some of us tend to skip our meals, which is when probably you will need an antacid regulatory tablet. And Danacid is one of the top four antacid brands in Nigeria. I want to thank the Ministry of Health and President of the Republic of Nigeria for their immense support.”

Gifts and awards were given out to encourage and serve as incentives to Nigerians who are distributors of the product to mark the silver anniversary of the company.

Vaswani said Danacid, which is manufactured in blister packs by 96, 100ml suspension and 1450ml jars that contain 1,000 tablets, is being supplied to primary healthcare centres, hospitals and leading pharmacies across Nigeria. “They have close to 360 primary distributors who, over the years, have helped build a robust medical distribution system to reach out to all communities,” he said.

The Danacid group vowed to continue being a leading household name in the antacid segment due to its quality, efficacy and user-friendly packaging, which is used for providing effective relief from hyperacidity, heartburn, gaseous distention and peptic ulcer.
