Peter-2Later today, the Glo-sponsored Dance with Peter reality T.V show will send the first set of evictees packing from the dance Academy. Following a very competitive performance last week by the duo of Snipe and Tom Tom, Captain Z and Mannaseh, G-Stream and Ernest Smiley, and Fearless and Ricky, viewers will witness a suspense filled edition this weekend of who will be asked to leave the Academy.

The public had earlier during the week voted for their choice candidates and the contestants with the least vote will be asked to leave. All the 30 contestants in the Academy were to perform any Latin American Dance in pairs, a feat they delivered creditably leaving the panel of judges comprising Peter Okoye, Kaffy and Don Flexx, at a loss as to whom to nominate for eviction.

Dance with Peter reality T.V show provides talented dancers an opportunity to showcase their skills and also offers T.V viewers, entertainment at its best every weekend.

Peter, whose initiative the reality T.V show is, encouraged the eight dancers who are up for eviction, saying that even though they eventually get evicted, they should deploy what they have learnt from the academy to improve their skills in future.

“Even though you guys are going now, I don’t believe you’re losers. Ensure that you make use of everything we’ve taught you in here, and if you do that, you can even be better than those that are still in the competition,” Peter said.

The sponsor of the reality T.V show urged viewers to tune in to Africa Magic Urban (Channel 153 on DSTV) at 7 p.m. on Saturday to find out the dancers that would leave the competition and also watch the remaining dancers entertain and fight to stay on in the academy.  Those who miss the action can look forward to watching it on African Independent Television (AIT) at 3 p.m.  on Sunday and on MTV Base on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The company in a statement released from its corporate headquarters, encouraged viewers to vote for their preferred contestant by sending his or her code to 55518 at the cost of N50 per SMS. Voting lines are open from 8 p.m. on Saturday to 12 midnight on Monday and voters stand a chance of winning fantastic prizes including Iphone 5 handsets, Glo internet wifi and modems as well as Glo recharge cards, the statement added.
