Igbokwe’s journey, marked by a diverse range of experiences and a commitment to excellence, provides a unique vantage point.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Information Technology at Westcliff University, following her Master’s in Business Analytics (with honours) from Hult Business School, she embodies the spirit of lifelong learning. Her credentials extend beyond academia, including the prestigious Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation, a Google Cybersecurity Certificate, an ASQ Quality Tools Certification, a Google Analytics Certification, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. This impressive array of qualifications underscores her dedication to mastering the intricacies of data analysis, cybersecurity, and business strategy.

“Data is the lifeblood of modern organisations,” Igbokwe stated. “But without integrity and robust security, it becomes a liability. My experience at Tesla, immersed in the demanding world of automotive manufacturing, highlighted the critical role of quality systems. Utilising tools like fishbone diagrams, QTools Suite, and other ASQ methodologies, I was able to pinpoint and address non-conformance issues, directly impacting production efficiency and quality.”

Her work at mPura Inc., as Lead Analyst for Investment Operations, showcased her ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. “By conducting rigorous cost-benefit analyses and crafting compelling data visualisations using Tableau and Power BI, I empowered leadership to make informed investment decisions, all while upholding the highest standards of data security,” she explained.

At Bavarde Consulting, as Senior Business Analyst, Igbokwe spearheaded the development of advanced analytics solutions, automating complex workflows and driving a 30 per cent increase in efficiency. “This experience solidified my belief in the power of data-driven decision-making, but also underscored the need for robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive information,” she added.

Her contributions at Moonacade Capital, PayPal, and RealSearch & Partners LLC further demonstrate her versatility and commitment to data integrity. From developing machine learning models to detect fraudulent transactions at PayPal to optimising data pipelines and driving customer success at RealSearch, Igbokwe consistently delivered impactful results.

Beyond her professional achievements, Igbokwe is a passionate advocate for empowering women in technology. As co-founder of SheData, she inspires young girls in Nigeria to pursue STEM careers, providing them with mentorship, workshops, and hands-on learning opportunities. Her involvement with the Patun Initiative, supporting widows with resources and guidance, further exemplifies her dedication to community upliftment.

In a world increasingly reliant on data, Blessing Igbokwe’s insights and expertise provide a roadmap for navigating the complex landscape of cybersecurity and data integrity. Her message is clear: a commitment to continuous improvement, coupled with robust security measures, is not just a best practice, it’s a necessity for sustained success in the digital age.
