The Post-unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) tests for admission into the University of Ibadan (UI) for the 2024/2025 academic session commenced on Saturday.
UI Vice-Chancellot Professor Kayode Adebowale led other principal officers to ensure the success of the exercise.
The Guardian gathered that some candidates and their parents arrived at the venue as early as 6:00 am and the Admissions Committee had arranged chairs and canopies for their convenience.
A total of 11,912 candidates were expected to sit for the tests scheduled to begin from Thursday, 19 September, till Saturday, 21 September, 2024.
The candidates had been advised to visit the UI Admissions Portal to print their photo cards, which bear their exam date, time, and venue. The photo cards were to be brought along to the venue of the tests.
Candidates were checked in, one hour to the commencement of their sessions.
Candidates initially scheduled for Friday 20 September, from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm, (Session 3) were re-scheduled to have their tests on Saturday 21 September from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (Session).
The venue for the tests is the Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, Sasa Road inside the university.
