The firm, founded by Ibikunle Ibidapo Opeyemi, aims to provide affordable and reliable renewable energy to households, businesses, and communities across the country.
Nigeria has long struggled with electricity shortages, with millions relying on costly and environmentally harmful generators. Enajigrid steps in to redefine energy access by offering scalable, clean energy solutions tailored for urban and rural consumers alike.

Opeyemi said: “Our goal is to make renewable energy the primary power source for Nigerians by leveraging smart technology and innovative financing models.”

Enajigrid offers a range of solutions designed to provide reliable energy: Smart Mini-Grids & Off-Grid Solutions – Efficient renewable energy grids for rural and underserved areas. Pay-As-You-Go Solar Systems – Affordable, flexible solar power with mobile payment integration. IoT-Enabled Energy Monitoring – Real-time tracking and optimisation of energy consumption. Decentralised Energy Trading – A peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace where users can trade excess power.

To accelerate impact, Enajigrid is collaborating with government agencies, private investors, and international renewable energy bodies. The company has also secured initial funding from impact investors committed to sustainable energy development in Africa.

Looking ahead, Enajigrid plans to roll out its services nationwide, starting with key pilot locations in Lagos, Ibadan, and Abuja before expanding to more states. The company envisions powering over one million homes and businesses within the next five years.

“We believe access to clean, affordable energy is a right, not a privilege. Enajigrid is here to drive that change,” Opeyemi added.
