Firm commits to electric car revolution

FAW Nigeria, the authorised representative of FAW Group, is setting the pace for sustainable mobility and clean transportation across the country.

Through growing partnerships with the Nigerian government agencies, corporate organisations and private individuals, the company is leading the country’s transition to affordable, eco-friendly and energy-efficient mobility solutions.

In recent months, FAW Nigeria has recorded a surge in demand and adoption of its mini and luxury electric vehicles as ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) embrace cleaner alternatives to conventional fuel-powered fleets.

Country Representative of Faw Nigeria, Ravshan Kurbanov, said: “We are proud to see government agencies across Nigeria join this sustainability movement.

bb“Our electric vehicles are designed to help institutions reduce operational costs, cut fuel dependency, and actively contribute to a cleaner environment; all while enjoying reliable, world-class mobility.”

Several government entities are now adopting FAW’s mini electric cars and executive EVs as part of their internal logistics and mobility programmes.

The transition marks a major step towards reducing fuel expenditure, promoting green governance, and aligning with Nigeria’s climate and sustainability goals.

According to the electric vehicle manufacturer, these agencies are making smart economic moves and already benefiting from up to 70 per cent savings on fuel and maintenance costs, zero-emission operations for official movement and short-distance commuting, enhanced efficiency, lower carbon footprint and a strong alignment with global environmental and energy-transition policies.

As Nigeria faces rising fuel costs and growing environmental challenges, FAW Nigeria is spearheading the national movement toward clean, renewable transportation.
