Toyota defies convention with new 2016 Avalon

REGARDED as one of the hit cars of Toyota Motor Corp and popular brand in the automobile market in Nigeria, the new 2016 from Toyota will not only set standards but stand tall in global lineup, defying convention with its sport suspension, commanding presence and striking new front end.

Its brilliant LED headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights and unique 18-in. alloy wheels help users lead the way and keep the attention focused on.

Advanced technology and a refined, intimate cabin offer sophistication and beauty with every turn of the wheel. Every alluring detail is passionately crafted so that users never have to compromise.

This is where design and desire meet. In order to stay on top of the competition, the model presents a mid life facelift of the current generation. The new car has a bolder design, better engines as well as one of the best interiors in its class.

The only drawback here must be the price which is still quite high when compared to some of its competitors. On the interior Toyota leaves the 2016 Toyota Avalon pretty much unchanged with a few minor exceptions. The customers will now have the chance to select stitched leather as well as a different type of steering wheel.

The standard interior has been upgraded as well the car now offering a triple zone automatic climate control, standard leather upholstery.

Also as a new offering is the brand new panoramic roof. The outside was also improved slightly. The car now has a bigger air intake in the front bumper as well as a small rear diffuser which should help its aerodynamics. The black accents on the car give it a much nicer appearance and the new 18 inch gray wheels make it look really aggressive.

Engine wise, the Toyota Avalon 2016 offers more of the same. It’s still available either as a petrol powered car or a hybrid but the petrol version has been changed a lot. While Toyota hasn’t released much information about it we expect that the old 3.5-liter V6 to be discontinued in the favor of a similarly powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4 that will offer more torque as well as a much better fuel consumption.
