FOMWAN Lagos recently organised outdoor advocacy at Makoko on Monday, June 27, 2022, to mark this year’s International Day against Drug Abuse.

The federation envisions a drug-free society, free from rape, domestic violence, drug abuse, addiction, misuse, depression and other related health and mental issues.

In view of the above, the outgoing State Amirah, Dr Halima Egberongbe, while addressing members of the community admonished them to stay off drugs because of the inherent dangers.

According to her, the drug has become a cankerworm that has eaten deep into youths, women and men, both old and young, married and single and the entire society.

In attendance were representatives of the market women, okada riders, artisans and some community members.
