Ezekiel 12:28 “Therefore, say unto them, Thus saith the LORD GOD; There shall NONE OF MY WORDS BE PROLONGED ANY MORE, but THE WORD WHICH I HAVE SPOKEN SHALL BE DONE, saith the LORD GOD.

IN the realm of life, negative circumstances that have been prolonged for a long time tend to create the impression that’s the final verdict. It is, however, part of African mythological proverb that “no condition is permanent”. Basically, in the life of every one of us, “God is the One who has THE FINAL SAY. It is possible to rewrite a positive history through God’s intervention. It is possible to reverse what seems irreversible.

In John chapter 5, there was a man who had lived beside a pool called Bethesda, seeking for healing for 38 years even before JESUS was born. One day, JESUS visited this man and repudiated the predicament THAT HAD been subsisting in his life. Biblical history is replete with the story of many hapless and hopeless people, who had faced the negative vicissitude of life and God Supernaturally obliterated the negative trends and sad verdicts of their lives. In the life of Abraham and Sarah, barrenness was removed, as Isaac became a living reality.

God dealt with the barrenness of Rachael, Hannah and many others and they became joyful mothers of children. Jabez, whose name and pedigree was supposed to perpetuate sorrow, sadness, obscurity and failure prayed to the God of Israel and the negative verdict of his life, was reversed. He became the most honourable in his family.

No matter what happens in life, God still has the final say. Isaiah 55:11 “So shall My Word be that goeth forth out of My mouth. It shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and it shall prosper in the thing wherein I sent it”. In 2 Kings 20:1 and 4, the great Prophet Isaiah came to prophesy death to King Hezekiah who had been mortally sick. King Hezekiah quickly and subsequently cried to God and God immediately reversed the death verdict of a great Prophet.

Death sentence seemed irreversible but God has the final say: No matter how long you have waited, God’s decree of blessing and longevity in your life cannot be set aside. Never take No for an answer. Jeremiah 1:12 “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: FOR I WILL HASTEN MY WORD TO PERFORM IT.”

PRAYER: Father God, You have the final say in my life. In JESUS MIGHTY NAME, I reject every negative verdict or prophecy. Through the Blood of JESUS, I reverse every negative Word spoken anywhere at any time against me. Only the Counsel of God will stand
