Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has felicitated with former Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd), on his 83rd birthday, hailing him as a revered statesman and national icon.

Governor Mutfwang, in a congratulatory message by Gyang Bere his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, on Saturday, acknowledged General Babangida’s profound impact on Nigeria’s trajectory through transformative interventions, exemplary leadership, and strategic vision.

He noted the General’s landmark achievements, including economic reforms, political restructuring, social advancements, infrastructural development, and impactful foreign policy initiatives.

Governor Mutfwang commended General Babangida’s dedication to Nigeria’s unity, distinguished military service, and enduring political engagement.

He also praised the General’s philanthropic efforts, which have improved healthcare, education, and economic empowerment for the underprivileged.

The governor prayed for General Babangida’s continued good health, impactful leadership, and personal fulfillment.
