‘How Nigeria can optimise food production’
Nestlé Professional Business, the out-of-home arm of Nestlé, has explained how Nigeria can improve its food business and production.
The organisation also promised to keep improving on the food business in Nigeria, saying food is one of the biggest businesses in the country.
The Nestlé Professional Manager, Funmi Osineye, stated this during a product education workshop for the Association of Caterers and Food Vendors in Ibadan, Oyo State, with over 200 canteen and food vendors in attendance.
The programme, themed, ‘The Business of Food,’ was organised to provide tips on how to grow their food service businesses and cook tasty meals that would delight their customers while providing them with the necessary support and products to cook Nigeria’s favorite dishes.
While stressing the need for the optimisation of the food business and the potential in the sector, Osineye said: “The biggest business anyone can think about is food. It connects, engages and excites. It is still the business industry today that employs a large number of people.”
The Nestlé Professional Manager said: “This partnership provides the opportunity for Nestlé to share some of its expertise in nutrition, health and wellness developed over 150 years to help individuals and families live healthier and happier lives.
“Nestlé Professional will continue to build partnerships with caterers and food vendors for better service to the industry.”
