
The General Superintendent, Holy Spirit Mission, Bishop Charles Ighele has lamented the poverty in the land, especially among the youth, calling for drastic measures to tackle it.
He, therefore called on every youth and every Nigerian to take the bull by the horns and fight back the precarious situation and every spirit of indolence and forces that keep them in delusion and avoidable life of poverty by keeping date with the one-day Seminar on Skill Acquisition scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024 between 9.00 am and 12.00 noon.
He added that the event that will take place at Holy Spirit Mission (The Happy Family), 75, Olufemi Ojo Street (Opposite Legacy High School) by Ologunfe Bus Stop, Akowonjo, Lagos will certainly take the beneficiaries out of woods.
The Host, Bishop Charles Ighele, who is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Sharon Education Services Limited and Founder, “I have a Future”, former senior banker, Rev. Carol Ighele, who is the Chief Hostess, said conquering the future with an additional one skill or the other in this bad economic period in the country is a must for gainfully employed banker, teacher, military, police among others.
“Every underemployed, those who have lost their job, those looking for job and every student, all need skill to conquer the future.
“The four hours intensive skill seminar will be handled by a Nigerian government and internationally recognised Skills Development Expert and Founder/Chief Executive Officer, Inspire Dreams Foundation, Dr. Cyril Eluwa.”
