Kwara Poly expels eight students

The management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has expelled eight students for their involvement in examination malpractice.

A statement issued by the Principal Assistant Registrar of the school, Daramola Olayinka, read thus, “the authorities of the institution having considered the report of the academic board in respect of your involvement in examination malpractice has obtained approval of your immediate expulsion from the polytechnic.

“Your expulsion is in line with the provision of the students’ handbook 2014. You, therefore, cease to be the students of this polytechnic and you should handover all polytechnic properties in your possession to your head of departments or the appropriate authority.”

The affected students as published by the school are Okaka Christian Sunday from Architectural Technology Department; Usman Saliu, Business Administration; Ogbo Peter Chinedu, Public Administration; Abdullahi Habibat Ajoke, Architectural Technology department.

Others are Omowale Oluwadare Oluwadamilola from Accountancy Department, Yakubu Jiya Nkapotun, Estate Management; Ahmed Simbiat Adepojuola, Architectural Technology, and Emmanuel Dada, Quantity Survey Department.
