The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has collaborated with Hindustan Institute of Science and Technology (HIST), India, to enhance the exchange of programmes.

The vice-chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Bello, while welcoming the HIST team, expressed optimism about the success of the collaboration, saying the partnership will benefit both institutions.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by LASU’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adenike Boyo and HIST Director of Sports, Prof. Selvamuthu Krishnan, for the two institutions, includes programmes, exchange of faculty members, research scholars, exchange of students, academic information, joint research and cultural programmes.

One of the HIST team, Dr. Samuel Adeyeye, said LASU was selected based on its track record of being one of the institutions offering Aeronautical Engineering.

The collaboration is expected to run for five years and renewable for another five years.
