With the country’s marketing communications landscape still evolving amid economic challenges, rapid digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence and changing consumer behaviour, the 2026 National Advertising Conference (NAC) is set to dissect the issues and proffer sustainable solutions.
Themed, ‘Repositioning the marketing communications industry for the next frontier,’ the conference will bring together leading professionals across the marketing communications value chain – including advertisers, agencies, media owners, regulators, technology innovators, and business leaders – to examine the trends, disruptions, and opportunities shaping the future of the industry.
NAC Chairman, Tunji Adeyinka, said the 2026 edition would feature insightful keynote sessions, high-level panel discussions, industry papers on critical themes such as, Is the industry ready for the next frontier? Rethinking marketing communications: The Chief Marketing Officer’s perspective; Is the agency sector ready for the next frontier? The future of broadcast media in Nigeria: Audience Measurement Systems.
Other topics include, Regulation in the next frontier: Regulating digital marketing and AI in Nigeria; The Nigerian creative economy: The place of the advertising industry and the future of awards in the marketing communications industry.
Speaking further, Adeyinka added this year’s conference would host distinguished speakers and industry leaders such as, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris Malagi; Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy Hannatu Musa Musawa; Director General , National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Obi Asika, former Chief Executive Officer of OPay, Olu Akanmu, among others.
