Dominican Media gets new TV presenters

To improve content, Dominican Media has hired new television presenters, following an audition on October 1, 2022 at Dominican Studios in Yaba, Lagos.

To improve content, Dominican Media has hired new television presenters, following an audition on October 1, 2022 at Dominican Studios in Yaba, Lagos.

The Guardian gathered that 26 candidates, some of them from other states, sent in their one-minute monologue video entries to qualify for the audition.

Five, comprising Stephanie Ezeonye (left), Mary-Ann Ushi, Jeffrey Obinwa, Evelyn Iwuoha and Favour Elesi, came out successful to anchor the Catholic media outfit.

Criteria for selection of applicants include presentation and creativity. One person was dropped in every stage of the interview until the judges were left with five of their best, including one male.

While three ladies (Ushi, Ezeonye and Iwuoha will host the Catholic Faith Forum (CFF), Obinwa and Elesi will host the Know Your Faith (KYF) series.

With the new development, May Okanigbe now hosts her ‘Chill with May’ and Chima handles ‘The Boy Network’ on Dominican Media. VNew programmes on CFF and KYF will be handled by the new presenters, who will begin training soon..

The new dawn at Dominican Media, which fifth anniversary comes up on December 10, 2022, promises an entertaining, educational and, most importantly, spiritual contents for the audience.

Dominican Media is an initiative of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans, Province of Nigeria and Ghana), a religious order founded by St. Dominic, to preach the truth of the Gospel and refute falsehood.

It is aimed at educating the society on moral and social issues via its programme, offering quality services in production of short films, documentaries and other TV contents.
