New officials for Muslim lawyers
The Oyo state chapter of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) has inaugurated a new executive committee.
The nine member committee is headed by Bar. Akeem Kola Adetunji. Bar Ismail Zakariyah will serve as the vice chairman while Bar. Jelil Diekola Rufai is the new secretary of the association.A statement issued by the publicity and social secretary of the association.
Other are: Bar Kunle Sanni hinted that other exco members are, Akeem Okelola (Treasurer); Ibrahim Ojo (Ass. Secretary) Ruqayat Agboola (Fin Sec.) Abeeb Lanase (Auditor) Mukhtar Aderogba (Publicity and Social Sec). The exco will serve for two years.
In his inaugural speech, the new chairman of Muslim Lawyers in Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter, Bar Akeem Kola Adetunji enjoined Muslim lawyers to see their calling as a sacred profession to serve Allah and humanity noting that every individual would give account of his or her stewardship to God almighty.
He assured all that the new executive committee would be guided by Quran and the sayings of prophet Muhammed as well as the constitution of the country.
