Mr Obafunwa noted that the benefits of dance are extensive, particularly in supporting cognitive health in older adults by combating conditions like Alzheimer’s and dementia. Dance also plays a key role in weight management and offers additional advantages. “Beyond weight loss, dance helps reduce back pain, improves sleep quality, enhances posture, and boosts cognitive function and creativity in both children and adults,” Obafunwa added.
