Power Against Destructive Dreams (2)

MATTHEW 13:25, “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat.” There is no dream that you can disregard. God has given some people revelations in their dreams, which they have cancelled with their own mouths. Others, the enemy attacked at night in their dreams, yet they refuse to do anything about it. God uses dreams as a way of saving His people from danger and also as a way of revealing to His people what the enemy’s plans are. With our natural eyes, we can see what the people we know look like, but we cannot see into their hearts. When the Lord now wants to reveal the true person to us, He will show us in a dream. Many people do not believe what they are shown in their dreams. The Bible says in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Many of us run into difficulties in our lives because we reject the knowledge that God has given to us in our dreams.

Every dream contains a message, which is why Satan is very interested in influencing our dreams. He inflicts failure into people’s lives by introducing an automatic failure mechanism. He knows that if he can influence your dreams, he can influence many areas of your life. So, he uses dreams to monitor, guide and destroy lives. The evil seeds that the enemy places in our dreams can take a lot of years to manifest. As a child of God, if we do not destroy the seeds, then we are to blame for our problems.

There are some people who dream but do not remember their dreams. For this reason, they believe that they do not dream. These people have to pray to God so that their remembrance of their dreams can be restored. If not, then if the enemy wants to destroy them, they will not know. In the same vein, they will be unaware when God wants to bless them because the enemy would have blocked every avenue that God would have used to minister to them.

Types of Dreamers
• First Class Dreamers: These are people whose dreams are erased so that when they wake up, they do not remember that they dreamed at all.

•Meaningless Dreamers: There are people whose dreams do not make meaning to them. Every dream has a meaning, but these people are unable to decipher the meanings of their dreams because the enemy has made it so.
