The Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State is set to hold its 12th convocation on Tuesday, November 10, where 448 undergraduates and postgraduates students would be awarded degrees.
The virtual event would be broadcast through the state-of-the-art media technology, backed and powered by the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 192 countries where its parishes are situated.
In a statement by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Anthony Akinlo, the convocation would start on Sunday, November 8 with a special impartation service for the graduating students by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and visitor to the university, Pastor Enoch Adeboye through Tuesday, November 10, which is the main convocation ceremony.
He said the set, tagged as the “Daniel generation,” has been raised as global leaders and change agents imbued with God-fearing attributes; adding that they are specially commissioned to set standards through a continuous commitment to excellence, geared towards a transformative impact on society.
The convocation lecture, titled, “Entrepreneurship, agriculture, and youth empowerment,” would be delivered by the Chairman, First Bank Plc, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, a renowned motivational speaker and management thought leader.
