TMD Synergy launches natural clean farming technology to assist farmers

Fish, poultry and pig farmers, who have been battling endlessly to ensure odourless and flies free environment, due to their farms activities, can now heave as sigh of relief with the introduction of Natural Clean Farming Technology, into the Nigerian market.

The new technology, coming from the stable of TMD Synergy Africa is an innovative product that significantly improves animal health and creates benefits throughout the food chain.

At a press briefing in Lagos to unveil the product, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Victor Nwufoh, who urged farmers in the state to embrace the use of the technology said it will assist fish, poultry and pig farmers to operate without the use of chemicals, growth hormones and medicines.

“Introducing Natural Clean product to animals’ diets has been proven to significantly improve the digestive tract health and immune system and it is a natural alternative for antibiotics and growth promoters used in animal diets sector,” he added.

Listing the benefit of the technology to fish farming, Nwufoh stated that adoption of the technology would help reduce the cost of feed by over 30 per cent; reduce or eliminate need for antibiotics and selective growth promoters; lower animal mortality rates to near zero; increase production yields and lower costs; ensure no water changing; and excellent meat quality with better taste, amongst others.

He added that the benefit of the technology in poultry farming would aid increase in egg laying production, ensuring that bigger eggs with large yolks and strong egg shell are laid; significant improvement in animal health and welfare; lower animal mortality rates with improvement of up to 95 per cent over farm standard mortality rates; and increase production yields and lower costs.

Nwufoh stated that his company, is partnering Lagos State government on the introduction of the technology to farmers, stressing that the objectives of the partnership is geared towards turning fish, poultry and pig farming to organic farming without compromising production quantity and improving quality of product and reduction in cost of farming inputs.

He said the adoption of the technology by farmers in the state would help in achieving the aim of the food security policy of government and ensure improvement in the agriculture value chain, especially in areas of fish, poultry and pig farming.

“Natural Clean Farming Technology is all natural, probiotic based and animal supplements, which is already being utilised by farmers around the world to improve the health of fish, poultry and pigs. We are delighted to be officially bringing the technology to Lagos and Nigeria,” Nwofoh said.

He explained that the technology is also applicable to pig, goat and snail farming, adding that it allows for farming in crowded urban environment like Lagos without the complaints from neighbours and community.
