He disclosed this in Lagos at the unveiling of the Toyota Genuine Motor Oil (TGMO) produced by Idemitsu for all Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

The managing director said oil is an exceptional product that represents Toyota’s relentless commitment to innovation, reliability, quality, and sustainability.

He said the engine is the heart of any vehicle, and as a responsible automaker, developing motor oil that ensures such an engine performs at its best while contributing to a greener and more sustainable world is the brand’s commitment to society.

He noted that the oil is not just any lubricant; it is the result of tireless research, innovative technology, and a passion for excellence by Toyota Motor Corporation.

He said: “We are thrilled to introduce Toyota Genuine Motor oil of grades 20W50, 5W30 and 15W40.”

He listed some key features that differentiate the motor oil from the competition including advanced formula, engine longevity, environmental commitment, warranty compliance and customer satisfaction.

Ade-Ojo said the oil has been designed to meet and exceed the strictest industry standards. Its advanced formula provides enhanced protection against engine wear, reduces friction, and optimizes fuel efficiency, giving a smoother and more enjoyable driving experience.

He explained that the motor oil helps extend the life of the engine if used regularly. With its superior protection against sludge and deposits, the engine will remain cleaner, ensuring it operates at peak performance throughout its lifespan.

In his remarks, Managing Director, Idemitsu Dubai, Otsubo Shinji, said the company manufactures and supplies Toyota genuine oil to countries around the world, including Japan.

Shinji said the production of the oil will increase convenience for Toyota vehicle users; reduce mechanical wear and friction, while extending component life.
