One million naira at N325 to a dollar is just about $3,000. The total value of cash given by Toyota is not even up to the price of one Corolla. And they make all these noise and so much fanfare about the money. All these multinational always take us for a ride.

If you know what these multinationals give out in an event like this in their home country you will know what i am talking about. The way they celebrate peanuts handed out to us in an event like this is the same way they pay their Nigerian employee. Our government have sold us to them. There are no laws on “equal work and equal pay” in Nigeria. While i was been paid N1000 as a graduate when i used to work for one of these multinational in Nigeria, those so called expatriates with the same degree as mine was earning as much as N100000. I even had to teach them everything. In USA here, with the same degree, i am earning more than some of those so called expatriate and even supervising them.
