The ImpactHer Organisation, a nonprofit foundation focusing on training African female entrepreneurs, just concluded another training program at Canton Concourse, 12 Land Bridge Avenue, Oniru Estate, in Lagos, to help build sustainable and scalable businesses.

It was organized to bridge the gender business-financing gap and help African female entrepreneurs realise their full economic potential, and to network with successful businesswomen for the growth of their businesses.

Participants travelled from far and wide, states represented include Rivers, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos as different sessions were facilitated by top-level executives from different sectors of the economy including

Executive Director, Falcon Petroleum Limited & President, Oil and Gas Association Mrs. Audrey Joe-Ezigbo. She shared her inspiring life experiences and journey through entrepreneurship with the participants, while senior associate at FBNQuest Funds Mr. Christian Ekpo, took the participants through the essentials and process of Equity Private Investment.

Others speakers were Regional Bank Head, Fidelity Bank, Mrs. Chinwe Iloghalu, who did justice to the essentials of debt financing, Co-Founder and Managing Director Africa Health Holdings Dr. Chinny Ogunro, who talked about attracting investors to your business.

While Ngozi Ukwenu and Jolaade Sulaiman, both from KPMG shared their views on raising funds to finance and grow your business, Mrs. Ifedayo Durosinmi-Etti spoke on accessing grants.

Award-winning Business Correspondent Didi Akinyerule spoke about the need for effective branding amongst other notable experts.

It was indeed a wholesome experience for the extremely excited participants who were availed the opportunity to learn, re-learn and unlearn a lot of things.

The very detailed sessions have now equipped them with the essentials for scaling their businesses from its current phase and level.
