Nigerian streamer and content creator Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has met American rapper and streamer DDG after a viral video showed him expressing doubts about his spoken English and reluctance to link up with fellow streamer IShowSpeed.
The video, which began circulating on Saturday night, captured a conversation between Peller and fellow streamer Enzo as they discussed plans to meet DDG ahead of IShowSpeed’s expected visit to Nigeria.
In the video, Enzo urged him to introduce himself, saying, “Just tell him my name is Peller, like the way you normally do.”

Peller, however, appeared unsure and replied, “My talk, in English, e no go go o!”
As Enzo pressed further and mentioned that IShowSpeed was expected to arrive the next day, Peller responded, “I no go even see am.”
When asked why, the 20-year-old streamer explained, “Nah, English o! I am going to university soon to study art.”
A confused Enzo then asked, “What is really going through your head?”
Beyond his language concerns, Peller also spoke about how his life has changed since gaining online popularity.
Reflecting on his rise, he told Enzo, “God has really bless me. My fans are giving me money, sometimes even five million. God has showed me love, the views, I’m getting it. I am looking at you guys to also start doing well, you are doing well, but God will touch you, you will go far.”
Despite his hesitation, Peller later met DDG in Lagos, with Enzo helping to facilitate the meeting.
During the interaction, Peller spoke briefly about his rise in streaming scene since 2022 and how fame reshaped his life.

The mood shifted when he jokingly claimed he only knew Portuguese after being asked to name DDG’s songs.
DDG played along, teased the group, briefly handed over his live stream, and hinted at future collaborations.
Peller’s reluctance to meet IShowSpeed comes as the American streamer continues his Africa tour. IShowSpeed recently launched Speed Does Africa, a 28-day live streaming project that began on December 29, 2025.

The tour is expected to take him across 20 African countries, including Nigeria, with daily live streams on YouTube and Twitch. Early stops such as Angola have already produced viral moments and drawn online attention.
Away from streaming, Peller has also been in the spotlight following his publicised breakup with fellow influencer Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis.

Speaking during a TikTok livestream on January 1, 2026, Peller confirmed the relationship had ended and spoke about the emotional strain it placed on him.
The breakup followed a troubling incident in December 2025, when he deliberately crashed his Mercedes-Benz on the Lekki-Epe Expressway while in emotional distress.
The incident led to his hospitalisation and arrest and reignited conversations around mental health among young content creators.
Peller said he later reached out to Jarvis’ family to apologise for his actions.
“I have spoken with her family. I begged them to forgive me. They were initially angry, but they later forgave me,” he said.
He added that while they agreed to remain on friendly terms, Jarvis asked for space.
“She told me to vanish for now and not be around her. We are friends for now,” he stated.
Looking ahead, Peller said he is focused on personal growth and faith in the new year.
“This is 2026. I want to focus on my life and enjoy my life. I don’t want girls around me,” he said, also urging women not to approach him romantically and appealing for modesty during his livestreams.
