There has been a lot of controversies surrounding R.Kelly since the airing of the docuseries Surviving R.Kelly a series which had alleged victims of his paedophilia acts and his alleged sex cult speak out.

The series which saw celebrities including John Legend and Nigerian former beauty queen, Ihuoma Nnadi-Emenike speak out has attracted global attention.

His daughter, Lee, also released a statement describing her father as a monster and told the world that they have not been in contact with him for a few years.

Yesterday, the 11th of January was his birthday and the singer who appears to be unbothered and the likes of including troll king, 50 Cent spoke up against him.

We should add that he recently got two gigs at Ludwigsburg and Oberhausen in Germany with tickets at Ludwigsburg going for $115 (N41,975) and a meet and greet package that’s going for $335 (N122,275).

Admist all of these allegations, it is clear that he has fans in the likes of Nigerian singer Jaywon. Jaywon took to Instagram to celebrate the singer. He wrote:

This obviously did not sit well with some Americans. See some of their tweets below:

Meanwhile, R.kelly has threatened to sue everyone who was involved in the docuseries and claims not to know some of the alleged victims.

On the other hand, his brother, Carey on air, gave explicit details on how his sister, Theresa, opened them up to sexual abuse when he was 6 and R.Kelly, 10. He also insinuated that she is responsible for the way her brothers have turned out.
