Asake Set To Serenade Guests At Yardland Music Festival
The Grammy nominee, Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake or Mr Money, is set to serenade guests at this year’s Yardland Music Festival. The event promises to be an extravaganza of sound, excitement and style. Known for his infectious energy, captivating stage presence, and chart-topping hits, Asake is poised to bring the roof down with his unique blend of Afrobeat, hip-hop and R&B.
The afrobeats sensation was unveiled by the festival organisers as one of the headline acts for this event scheduled to hold in Paris in July. The festival, known for its dynamic lineup of urban music, will run from July 4 to 6 at the Hippodrome de Paris-Vincennes, featuring some of the biggest names in afrobeats, hip-hop and dancehall.
Other impressive artistes lined-up for this gig include American rapper Latto and Belgian rapper Hamza; French hitmaker, Tiakola, Swazi DJ & producer Uncle Waffles, JRK 19, Uzi and Montana, with the BDLM choir.
The Yardland Music Festival is one of Asake’s biggest headline performances in France, as fans eagerly anticipate new music and a possible tour date and venue from the singer in 2025.
With two songs under his belt already, the Mr Money with Vibe has shown zero signs of slowing down in 2025, as he has teased a new song, titled, Round of Applause. The Lungu Boy crooner is certainly poised to shake things up this year as the music industry continues to evolve.
Fresh from his appearance at the 67th Grammys, Asake unleashed a surprise freestyle titled, Military, declaring his entry into an era of unapologetic creativity. The hitmaker recently teased an upcoming single on TikTok, sparking anticipation among fans.
The latest teaser suggests the award-winning star might be gearing up for the release of his second single of 2025 following Why Love, his first release the year and his first since parting ways with his former label YBNL. The song was released under his Giran Republic, an imprint under which he launched a marijuana retail business in California, United States.
The two-time Grammy nominee also recently secured six nominations, including ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year’, at the upcoming 17th Headies. With the nomination, Asake will be aiming to win his second consecutive Album of the Year Prize at the ceremony slated for April 5.
Festival-goers can expect an unforgettable night of music, dance, and celebration, as the multiple award winning act including an All Africa Music Award, two Headies, and one MOBO award, with nominations for a BET Award, two Grammys, and an NAACP Image Award performs his biggest hits and newest releases.
