Singer Bebe Rexha took to social media on Tuesday to share an alleged text message from her boyfriend, Keyan Safyari, in which he commented on her weight.

Rexha responded to the text message by saying that she was “not trying to find reasons to break up” and that she was “unhappy with me/myself/with life and don’t see a future with us.”

She also said that she was “not going to pretend” that she didn’t gain weight, but that she was “still beautiful and loved.”

The alleged text message has sparked a debate on social media, with some people defending Safyari and others criticizing him for his comments.
