Barely a month after Genevieve Nnaji’s film, Lion Heart, broke into film streaming platform, Netflix, another Nigerian film Chief Daddy is set to join Netflix.
Chief Daddy, a Nigerian comedy, starring Funke Akindele, Patience Ozokwor, Nkem Owoh, Falz, Kate Henshaw, MI and Richard Mofe-Damijo, will be available starting March 15, 2019.
The film was produced by EbonyLife Films and written by Bode Asinyanbi and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.
Shortly after its release in December 2018, it attracted a gross of N115.7 million and N250.2 million making it the second-highest opening weekend for a Nigerian film.
