Britney Spears has announced via her Instagram account that she is expecting a baby with her partner Sam Asghari. The 40-year old singer wrote on her Instagram page which read “I got a pregnancy test… and uhhhhh well… I am having a baby.” The news comes six months after Britney Spears was legally set free…
Britney Spears has announced via her Instagram account that she is expecting a baby with her partner Sam Asghari.
The 40-year old singer wrote on her Instagram page which read “I got a pregnancy test… and uhhhhh well… I am having a baby.”
The news comes six months after Britney Spears was legally set free from a conservatorship that saw her Father Jamie Spears in charge of her well-being including the right for her to have a contraceptive IUD removed. Britney Spears statted that the conservatorship made her not”get married and have a baby.”
While the singer was under conservatorship, fans insisted that the “Circus” singer was traumatised by it and in June 2021 she asked a Los Angeles judge to end the legal arrangement.
The mother-to-be who seemed elated with the news said “It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there… I might just lose it,” which speculates that she may be expecting twins.
The singer, after the pregnancy news, said “won’t be going out as much” to avoid being followed by the press.
This will be her first child with partner Asghari and her third child as she is the mother to Sean and Jayden, fathered by her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
It is unclear when the due date will be.
