American rapper and songwriter, Belcalis Marlenis Cephus popularly known as Cardi B has been hospitalised for a few days following a medical emergency, forcing her to cancel her scheduled appearance at Atlanta’s ONE MusicFest.

The American rapper took to Instagram to break the news, expressing her disappointment. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend, and I really wish I could be there,” she wrote.

Since Monday night, her fans have been aware of her hospital stay after she went Live on Instagram from her hospital bed.

During the Live, Cardi B addressed a personal issue involving Child Protective Services (CPS), after someone allegedly prank-called them on her.

In a heated response, she said, “Motherfuckers have taken shit too fucking far when you mess with my fucking kids.”
Cardi B, who welcomed her third child in September, has had her fair share of ups and downs, especially with her relationship with Offset.

However, many fans were left wondering about her health after hearing the news, but she assured them she’d bounce back soon.
