An angel gone
The cast and crew of the Africa Magic family drama “The Johnsons” have taken to social media to mourn cast member Ada Ameh (Emu), who passed away on Monday morning. The death of veteran actress Ada Ameh broke the internet after the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, announced it. Her colleagues at “The Johnsons” have also joined other fans in mourning the late actress.
The 48-year-old actress, a few weeks ago, opened up about her mental health challenges after losing some family members. The actress before her death, lost six of her siblings and her only child.
Jack Sparrow Turns To Music
Following a widely aired trial and a sensational win, Johnny Depp has made a notable return, this time with a new album. The actor released a 13-track album “18” with English rocker Jeff Beck on which he sings and plays guitar features mainly covers.
The album includes renditions of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” and John Lennon’s “Isolation,” as well as the Velvet Underground classic “Venus In Furs.”
Depp and Beck started work on the new album back in 2019, but this isn’t his first foray into music. In fact for over a decade, he has recorded and toured with the Hollywood Vampires, a supergroup he started with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry.
Benniffer Says Yes
Long-term beau Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have taken things more seriously, saying “I Do” this week in Las Vegas. The couple tied the knot 18 years after their first romance ended, this time with one of their kids each in attendance.
“Bennifer” had gotten engaged previously in 2003 but called things off in 2004. Late last year, the couple reunited after photos of them together again began circulating the internet.
JLO announced her engagement in April sharing photos of her emerald-cut pale green diamond with fans through her newsletter.
They/Them
Rapper Lil Uzi Vert joined the list of other non-binary celebrites this week, changing their pronouns and their Instagram bios to match. He joins other celebrities who have come out as non-binary including Demi Lovato and Sam Smith to mention a few.
They/them are gender-neutral pronouns that are frequently used by non-binary, genderfluid, and genderqueer persons to indicate that they do not identify as either men or women.
